1. Bring a Few Forms of Entertainment
Whether you’re sitting in an airport or spending hours in the passenger seat, you’ll need something to kill time. Bring a book, some music or a game to pass the time. You might get bored having only one of the above on hand!
2. Keep Comfort in Mind
No matter the length of your trip, the last thing you want is to be is uncomfortable in what you’re wearing. Bring layers so you can adapt to the temperature, and opt for that pair of sensible shoes in your closet. (Remember: sensible is does not have to mean ugly!)
3. Pack Light
It’s one thing if you’re packing for a week-long trip. But if you’re just visiting family or friends for a long weekend, pack as light as you can. Chances are you can borrow anything you need, or pick it up at the local mall. Plus, you won’t have to add “heavy suitcase” to your list of holiday travel-related headaches!
