1. Go back to the basics.
Work wear is all about mixing and matching. To make it seem like your closet is bursting with possibilities, go back to the basics. You can do great things with solid tops and bottoms. You can pair them with almost any kind of accessory, tie or pair of shoes!
2. Clothes should be investments.
Especially if you wear them every day! The last thing you want is to be buying a new white button down every couple of months because – surprise! – it’s worn out already. Splurge on some staples that are quality. You don’t have to spend outrageous amounts, just stop opting for the cheap stuff you know won’t last.
3. Get organized.
You may think your closet is organized, but is it really? There’s always room for improvement! If you ever feel frustrated in the morning trying to find something to wear to work, try separating your clothes in two sections: work and… not work! Having a section of your closet dedicated specifically to clothes you only wear to the office puts all your options in one place, and simplifies your decision.
