3 Steps to the Ultimate Family Dinner

Apr 9, 2015

It’s harder than ever these days to gather your loved ones for some family time. Family dinners are a classic, so we’ve come up with three steps to make the most of it! 1. Make it special Get everyone involved. Find a special recipe. You can even make a centerpiece if  you want! Is there a better reason to go all out than for a meal with your family? Didn’t think so. 2. Unplug Put down your phones and turn off the TV. You can afford to unplug for a few hours and be present in the moment! Really taking time to catch up with your family instead of worrying about your latest batch of emails can help you unwind after a long day or week of work. 3. Make it a standing reservation! If you found a time that works for everyone once, you may just be able to do it again. See if you can make it a weekly gathering. It will be something everyone will look forward to!   Where do you find your favorite family dinner essentials? Bookmark places and providers like grocery stores or bakeries on...

Follow your favorite spots on social media Log onto Facebook, Twitter and more to “like” and “follow” you favorite bars and restaurants near the office. Many will post their weekly happy hour specials, making it easy to decide where to go, and when! 2. Plan ahead Sometimes impromptu plans fall apart, leaving you without an opportunity to unwind after a long day. At lunch time, rally the troops and try to set up a plan for the night. By the time 5:00 rolls around, all you have to do is grab your stuff and go! 3. Ask around From your coworkers to your friends, often the best way to find the perfect place to blow off some steam is to ask for a suggestion!
